Personal Career Site and Blog design

This is what a business in United States was looking for in their Wordpress design

I am looking for a clean, professional design for my personal wordpress site. I am beginning a new job search and I want to get this site up to help promote my skills and gain attention from prospective employers and peers. I will use the site to post how-to articles and screen casts on technical topics. I work in the Telecommunications industry, specifically I work with Cisco System's Voice Over IP technology. I mention these things as I think it will drive inspiration for the design and images. I have also included a list of sites run by other people in my industry in the case that they are helpful to designers in determining what the content of my site would be.
