Web Design Project

This is what a business in Australia was looking for in their web design

I'm an author in need of a personal web site. My writing is dark and dramatic but also beautiful and artistic, and I would like the site to reflect this. Dark colours are preferred - eg grey, black.

I prefer wide-screen layouts where the images flow unbroken to the edge of the screen. I've had professional photos taken and would like to use a different photo as a header for each page (see this site as an example of the feel I'm after: www.nicolebaart.com).

I like the use of texture and layers. I want the pages to have depth. eg Distressed/ vintage effects where the edges fade to black. Read more
