do you wish to have a clean and modern looking logo or do you want it to have tonnes of details? Like most
of beer logos, they go towards that classical look. Wish you could help me narrow down on what type of logo

Hi. Not looking for a clean and modern look. Basically I am looking for the core of what will be used for logo. Further embellishment can later be added for a business card, stationery, and beer and liquor labels.

I am looking for what people would relate to and like as a logo and make an association with beer and liquor products to make them want to reach for them on a supermarket shelf and purchase them..

So something that provides a time line to the 1930s and prohibition, something that might refer to a boardwalk empire, or Al Capone (without a vignette of his face in an oval with cigar and fedora hat as this is already trademarked or visuals of Thompson machine gun which is also trademarked).
