Hi,
there are two .txt files in the attachments that are not readable:

66477_dsc_4249_838653_brief014006

Can you please upload them again? Thanks.

Hi Bogi, done uploaded 2 pictures.

Thank you.

I took a closer look to the brief and the files, and have some questiones:

1. You have mentioned that the brochure should be about 4-6 pages. The copy without images is already 14 pages, with images it might be about 16-20 pages. I'm a bit confused, exactly which part should be 4-6pages?

2. How much information do you want to put on the folder?

3. I'm not sure about the location of these photos:

4. In what file format do you want the itinerary templates to be? I prefer working in InDesign, but let me know if you need a different format.

Thank you for your help.

Hi,

1. There are 2 parts of this brochure.

(i) Main brochure : please refer to file - The World Beyond The Classroom v3. This is the part that I intend to keep at 4-6 pages. If this is not feasible, please feel free to increase the pages, but limit it to 10 pages. You may shrink short brief of personnel to smaller fonts. For ''What''s included in the cost?'', I''m visualising it in a graphic process form, this is the basic of what the school will get when they engage our tour management, should be quite catchy. At ''What else do we arrange'', this is what we distinguish ourselves from the rest of the other companies, also to show that we know what we are doing and understand schools and parents'' concerns, this part should serves as icing on the cake.

(ii) Flyers for inlet : In order to keep our products up to date, we will be replacing flyers frequently. Files for this section are The World Beyond The Classroom - Destination v2, Malaysia Itinerary & Egypt Itinerary. Each flyer should be 1-2 A4 pages, front and back (for instance, Malaysia on 1 x A4 paper front and back & Egypt on 2 x A4 paper front and back). On the first page, please include the destination brief, picture, what''s included, main focus, related subject, environmental focus (text in The World Beyond The Classroom - Destination v2). Detailed itinerary on 2nd page (onwards if need be). The pdf file ''tour itinerary example'' is a sample from another company doing similar tours.

2. As much information as possible, but of course not too clutted and it has to look professional. The folder would be the face of this product, the first thing the school & parents will be looking at, so first impression counts. Flyers will be given to them based on their preferences, we will not give all destination information at one go.

3. I''ll check the location and reload. Please do not hesitate to use other photos if you find suitable ones. My photos are just for reference, if they do not suit your design, please leave them aside.

4. My printers usually use Illustrator and photoshop, I presume InDesign is compatible?

Thank you.

By the way, our current destinations are Asia - Malaysia, Nepal, China; Middle East - Egypt, Jordan, Oman; Europe - Italy, Greece.

Thank you for your response. I'll submit designs as soon as I can.

About the file format: I find InDesign the most efficient in creating multiple page brochures, so I'll start working in it. I presume the printer posseses this software too, if not, please let me know and I will rebuild the design in Illustrator. (Unfortunately an .indd can't be edited in Illustator.)

I''ll check with my printer and let you know asap. Please take note that the file has to be pdf friendly. I will send it through email to clients and use it on website too.

Hi Bogi, my printer prefers to use Illustrator. Can you please develop your design on Illustrator? Thanks.
