Halloween Email Campaign (eMails & Landing Pages)
Add your question or comments below
Hi.
Hey Craigm
Thanks for reaching out. I''m new to design crowd, normally an eLance user so.. :o) Re your questions.
1 - I am unfortunately behind schedule
2 - I seem to have missed that the deadline set would be the deadline to complete the project (eLance works slightly differently). I''m fine extending by a day or two so i''ll go ahead and make an update to the project.
Does that help? Any other info i can provide that might be helpful?
Best Regards,
I''ll read the brief in greater detail later and get back with any quesitions.

Hi Liviu,
Are the 3 characters The Star, Temptress etc to be used across all the emails and landing pages? ie a theme that runs through the whole campaign?
Also, the imagery used will be predominantly from the website, ie models etc?
Me again,
Me again,
Hey Craig,
- Those 3 characters are really our target audience. Normally when we run a campaign it''s targetted at one of the 3. Only for seasonal campaigns (Halloween, Valentines, Xmas) do we target all in the same campaign. Hopefully in the future even our Halloween campaign will have different messages targetted to each but for now, we''re launching the same message to all 3 audiences. At this point, i''d say use the target audience more as an FYI about the company and the brand than letting it affect your design. The Halloween campaign will target all 3 so it''s best not to be partial to any one of them.
- Imagery : While ideally i''d like to use images from the site exclusively (because then i can link directly from the image in the email to the product on the site, or even post the price of the product in the email), i do realize that the images on the site arent the best. There are some good ones, others not so much. Here''s where i stand: I''d like to maximize images from the site because its free and recognizable to our customers. That said, i''d hate to see a great design compromised by a weak image - so if you do need to purchase stock photo''s - do let me know and i think we can figure it out if it''ll really add value to the design.
- The brand character is really the personality of the brand. If i had to liken spice n dreams (not just the logo but the brand) to a person, and describe that person, that''s how i would describe her. It would be akin to describing Nike as athletic, goal oriented, driven, etc. The brand character would help guide your design. i.e. a black design with a sombre yet extremely sexy model on it would''nt fit the brand - it would just scare off our audience as they wouldnt connect with it. It''d be like Nike sending me a picture of an overweight person eating a hamburger. The sample landing pages that i provided in the brief are fairly aligned to the brand character for spice n dreams.
