To give you some ideas, and In case you aren''t very familiar with coaching, it is about helping people reach their goals. We help clients do a lot of self evaluation of their values, their vision and mission, what has worked for them and not worked for them in the past, and what hurdles or roadblocks might be keeping them from reaching and achieving their goals in life, work, business, relationships, and other areas of their lives. The goals can be as simple as having a company respond to a resume submission or to ask a woman on a date, or as grand as starting their own business, or gain more life/work balance and strengthen her relationship when a woman makes all the money for the family, has a high powered job with too many responsibilities, has a struggling marriage, and has 3 kids she wants to spend more time with. Coaches are a sounding board for clients to bounce ideas off of. We ask a lot of questions to help the client find their own solutions. We help them set goals, break them down into smaller, more manageable chunks, create action plans to reach their goals, and we hold them accountable to keep them moving forward on their action steps. And we help them realize what they are learning in the process. We don''t tell them what to do, but we turn on a lot of light bulbs for them so they can discover and experience their own journey. We empower people to live more authentic, more calm, and more joy filled lives.
New Info 9/18/14: *** While I really like the very professional designs submitted so far, I would like to see some options that are a bit different. I''ve made some changes to the Look and Feel section. I''ve moved the ranking slightly more Elegant than Bold, slightly more Personable than Professional, slightly more Colorful than Conservative, slightly more Economical than Upmarket. I''ve just added 5 photos to show colors that I like (see the color bars at top of each photo.) I prefer the stronger/darker colors (blue, teals, burgundy) for main colors, and only like the lime green or yellows or lighter blues, teals, rose, as small accent colors. I''d also like to see some options that use slightly more feminine or personal fonts. Maybe show a modest script (not too fancy) option. If script is used, I''d prefer fonts such as Lobster, P22 Corinthia, Dancing Script, Marcelle, Bickley Script, Brush Script Std, Satisfy, or Playball. I don''t like scripts such as Vivaldi, Edwardian Script, Pinyon Script or Sacramento. If the font is too thin/light/wispy, then I''d prefer to see a bolder version of it. Please let me know if you need any clarifications. Thanks!
Designers – I''m realizing that when I go in to make a private comment and or mark off which star I would like to rate your design, I often see the comments repeated in our private message board, and I''m seeing multiple ratings of one design. I''ve not given a one star rating to any of your designs. I''ve mostly given 3 and 4 star ratings. So, I wanted to let you know that I don''t keep changing my mind on the star rating of your designs, unless I specifically gave you a comment as to why I am changing the rating.
Hello Designers - Thank you so much for all of your hard work in trying to get me a logo for my business. I''ve just uploaded a new document which shows all of the colors that appeal to me most and color combinations that I like.
A couple more notes to go along with the color pages I just attached: I tend to prefer the bolder colors. I will probably never put the logo on a black background. I also do not care for black backgrounds on the symbols, unless it is a small portion of the symbol. I prefer the deepest shades of the colors on the attached document as a background color. I also like thicker, white font or designs on top of the dark colors. (pg 1, top R, "Be Part of It") (pg 2, bottom, "Spurbuck", "KMB") (pg 3, middle R: "bocca"). I don''t expect you to combine all of the comments above into one design. These are just tips of what I prefer most. Thank you!!
