Logo Design Brief

We have an existing set of logos that was made in conjunction with a brand called Rockstart. We are no longer associated with them and we need to redesign it without losing its essence.

Objective: Replace the current logo so that it has NOTHING to do with the Rockstart image: They use Black and Purple, with cream and beige backgrounds. We need to find alternatives. The black could be maintained as it gives strength and seriousness, but we can try other alternatives that achieve the same. The purple, beige, and cream need to be changed (it could be blue and white).
They use arrows in sequence to the right (there's an arrow in their logo). This should be eliminated. However, we could keep the upward arrow in the letter U.
Branding:
The umbrella brand is "Startup Venezuela," but "Startup Venezuela Summit" should be almost equally important. In the future, "Startup Venezuela," in addition to the Summit, will have other activities, such as the "Insight Series," a VC, a startup acceleration program, a podcast, etc. Everything that fosters, promotes, and develops Venezuelan entrepreneurs and the Venezuelan entrepreneurship ecosystem.
It should become the reference brand, the most important and relevant, and the most aspirational, of the entire Venezuelan entrepreneurship ecosystem in the world. It must convey Technology, Ecosystem, and entrepreneurial strength, Dynamism, Progress, Impact, Future, Agility, Professionalism/Seriousness.
It is a brand that believes in Venezuela and Venezuelans, that bets on a tremendous future for the country and for all Venezuelans who love their country, no matter where they are in the world. There is always an emotional connection with Venezuela, which will be present in everything that Startup Venezuela does.
It should be associated with the future development and great reconstruction of the country. It must be aspirational, inspiring, and generates enthusiasm and positive energy for success. Something where all Venezuelan entrepreneurs and businesspeople, as well as all global investors, want to participate because they feel it is the BEST opportunity to be part of the Venezuelan entrepreneurial movement in the world.
The Summit could maintain the image of Avila in the background, which alludes to the city, and try to create something where each edition of the Summit features the city in the background, e.g., Miami Edition with a Miami background.
