project
we are an academic research group. We need data visualizations of raw data to insert grant applications and negotiate with other academics. Here are examples of data set we need visualized.
1. Cardiology EConsults
Since the beginning of the cardiology eConsult program, total of 2158 eConsults ordered.
1895/2158 (~88%) of all cards eConsults were ordered for patients living in 1 of 6 Denver metro or Colorado Springs counties. These are of course classified as “urban” counties. So we can easily say that the majority of all cards eConsults are for patients living in the front range and in urban counties.
Across the entire state, 2085/2158 (96.7%) of all cards eConsults were ordered for patients living in an urban county (this would include urban areas a little outside of Denver such as Ft. Collins).
24 (1.1%) eConsults ordered for patients living in rural counties. There were only 9 rural counties represented in our data. The state of Colorado has a total of 24 counties classified as rural.
