Dear All,
Firstly, thank you for your work. I wasn't expecting any submissions today, already. But, it's been very instructive.
Thanks to the initial logo submissions, I'm realising that script / cursive fonts aren't working because the Z can easily be mistaken for a "L" and this has 2 negative implications: 1/ if people read "Le" instead of "La" it's grammatically incorrect, in French. 2/ people won't get the 'Franglais' joke.
I'm also realising that it's important that "Ze Colle" not be given preeminence over "d'Apolline" ... it should be read as 1 entity, which I think, implies a more equal weighting, graphically...
Thank you all, and I look forward to seeing the work as it comes in.
Cheers,

Hi All,
To add to my earlier comments, but this time on the graphic elements ... I've seen lots of "olive tree" design ideas. These are too common for our taste. e.g. [Non image link removed]Perhaps the answer lies in pushing towards more abstract designs vs figurative designs ...? Food for thought.
Thank you,
