I have gone through your website, and found you on Youtube as well (ParelliTube). I have seen the educational videos meant for members to use your site. This was useful as the videos were full of screenshots of ParelliConnect.

I am trying to understand your business goals, to understand the website's usability goals. I even signed-up, but since I am based in India, I cannot go past it.

You have mentioned that you would be 'tailoring down the text and information on the front page'. I assume that this step has been inspired from the usability needs. (People rarely read long text on websites!)

If you are ready to move information from front page to inner pages, this presents a good time when you can involve a designer in the process. I hope you do not see 'designer' merely as someone who can make things beautiful, but also as a decision-maker who helps by deciding where does a certain piece of information goes on a page, irrespective of how it looks. :-) This being the usability perspective.

In order to redesign, from the usability perspective, I have observed:

Your primary goal is to encourage people to 'Sign up' and Buy a Membership.

But the homepage of the website doesn't offer any screenshot of ParelliConnect. Those screenshots are on the feautres page. So on the homepage, there are no elements that leads the user to click on Sign-up. I recommend moving those elements on home page.

Those visuals can tell site-visitors/users a lot about 'What is ParelliConnect?' and 'What they can expect once they get inside the website?' This will encourage them to Sign-up.

Also, it adds the fun element as there is a lot of activity going on in those images. A single video on the homepage will be boring. It takes a lot of time to watch a video, but eyes can scan the images in a jiffy.

If you like this idea, I can work on the layout and show you a design in a day.

There are more things I can discuss to increase the site's usability and fun-quotient.
