why so generic design ? any suggestions ?

"So generic".....seems rather a harsh comment/assessment. If you would have read and understood our design brief, we were looking for a complimentary logo to our already established parent company branding. This design fits perfectly in what we were seeking and is an excellent partner brand for our family of companies. "Generic" is somewhat of an off-based comment as logo icon can and will be used in several representations to present our custom home building effort. We believe that an over-stated or bold image representation of our brand does not fit the persona of our custom home designs - energy efficient, sustainable and designed to be the homeowners home....not ours.
