Logo Design Brief

We need a logo for a company called ResearchMed, a cloud based clinical medical software for medical specialists. A large part of the initial release of the software is related to surveys, clinical outcomes and statistics. We are targeting medical specialists not the patients or general practitioners.

Initially the logo will be used mainly for website and we will require photoshop files as well as gif or jpeg files please.

Ideally we would like a clean simple design that could eventually be used in multiple media. Initial use case is for web only but will be followed by print including business cards and ultimately in a mobile app icon. So it would be great if the whole logo or some part of it is versatile enough for use in different media.

We would also like the logo colour scheme of blue or green and silver or grey. Red or orange should be avoided completely. Think clinical. Try to avoid obvious cliche medical images such as doctor with face mask and hair protector or snakes wrapped around a cross.
