Fashion-Doll Website

This is what J David McKenney was looking for in their web design

I'm looking to create a new and better website for my growing fashion-doll brand, PIDGIN.

About me: I'm a Brooklyn-based artist, illustrator, and doll-maker and PIDGIN is the name of my doll. Pidgin is a character doll (one girl) but she's not necessarily defined by any particular physical trait outside of the sculpt of the doll and her unique sense of style. For example, she could have pink hair and freckles or dark skin and green eyes, but she would still be "Pidgin."

My partner and I created the current website ourselves using Adobe Muse. While it has served its purpose, we are not professional graphic or web designers, so I'm looking to graduate to a much more sophisticated and streamlined web design. I want the site to feel sweet and homespun but also hip and edgy. Because the site is so image heavy, I think black and white or black and off-white might be the best color palate, but I'm open to seeing other palates.
