Recovery arm coverup tattoo

This is what a business in Canada was looking for in their tattoo design

I have two tattoos on my right arm I’d like covered up. I have an idea possibly an analog clock with stairs leading to it or around it. I like the mechanical looking tattoos where it looks as if the mechanical pieces are tearing out of the flesh. I’m not into much colour just some creative shading like in the picture provided.

I’m a recovering addict and would like to put something in the tattoo to recognize that I’m free from active addiction. Maybe the something like, Recovery, Today, One Day At A Time. But I’d like the words to blend in with the rest of the tattoo.
