Heating and Air Conditioning Logo Design

This is what Furches Company Heat and Cool was looking for in their logo design

I need a logo design for the HVAC company I am acquiring, Furches Company. It has been in business since the 1950's and I will be the new owner operator. We provide service and sales on heating and air conditioning units, in addition to preventative maintenance contracts. We also do financing. Initially, I had thought a retro theme would be interesting. You see this a lot of it in the mechanical service industry, but I would be open to new ideas. The color scheme had been red and white, but I would consider other colors like green and beige or whatever looks good.
