Logo and Icon Design Project for iOS app automated testing product

This is what ITestForU was looking for in their logo design

iTestForU is a iOS apps automated testing tool.
I need logo and icon for this test tool.

1) Icon:

This is application icon for Mac OSX and Apple Mac Store.

Icon idea is visible in my twitter account @itestforu.
"i" in the icon stands for both "iOS" and "iTestForU". Fragment of "O" from "iOS" follows it. Dot on the "i" is a ring containing checkmark inside. The checkmark stands for successful test case.

Icon should be redesigned to become nice and professional. Right now it is ugly. Green as a major color is preferrable. Red cannot be used. I prefer modern and minimalistic style. The icon should work on dark and on light background.

If you come up some other idea for the icon that looks better than my own idea, i'm open for them also.

2) Logo

Logo should be in harmony with the icon or should contain the fragment of an icon or vice versa.
