AKN - AmericanKartingNews.com

This is what AmericanKartingNews.com was looking for in their logo design

I have attached the current logo (CKN-AKN-logo.eps) for my company/website "CKN CanadianKartingNews.com". I also took the next step in beginning the second logo "AKN AmericanKartingNews.com". However, I need you to adjust the "C" to an "A". This is part one.

Secondly, I have attached a better version of the logo idea I'd like to work from. It really catches my eye, and with a few tweaks, I think it can be amazing! I would like to focus on AKN first. Then we can make the CKN version second.

Here are the tweaks I would like to make:
- Remove the kangaroo at the bottom
- on the left side of the white 'road' I'd like to add a skinny racing curb, using the blue colour. If that confuses you, here is a photo of a curb - http://www.hoslotcarracing.com/image/Construction/PaintedTurnBorder.jpg (red and white)
