Recruitment Consultancy 'needing logo design for branding'

This is what Mckenzie Recruitment was looking for in their logo design

My company is a specialist recruitment consultancy based in New Zealand. I am just starting out. My logo and look needs to be of a `traditional yet trusted style' colours scheme. Simple elegant yet stylish wording with a simple eye catching logo.

My clients are large commercial construction specialists, architects, specialised engineers and my candidates are middle to high level managers and industry specialists.

I like the colours including the red/brown or grey and white idea in the' NZ Public Trust logo' and design. I don't mind a white background.
Mckenzie could be on top and larger than the word recruitment being underneath???
Other ideas include a logo being the letters MR in some sort of font or the letters being in the middle of some sort of crest? This could be later used as a cool sew on badge type of thing on uniforms for a traditional english yet stylish look...or not?
