This is what Rucker Family Society was looking for in their logo design

The Rucker Family Society is a US-based non-profit that is focused on the history and genealogy of Rucker family, beginning with Peter Rucker, who arrived in Virginia in 1700... legend has it that he floated ashore more dead than alive clinging to a keg of rum after his sloop sank seven miles offshore. Probably not entirely true, but we love the story. We're looking for a logo that both captures the historical nature of the organization, as well as the adventurous spirit of our family's patriarch, Peter. We don't currently have a color palette. Turns out that it belongs to a DIFFERENT Rucker family, one we're not related to. Feel free to use design elements from the coat of arms, but we aren't supposed to use it, since it isn't our family.
