Logo for new oil and gas drilling technology company

This is what QuickSilver Drilling Technologies was looking for in their logo design

Update to requirements:

The best designs we've seen have a simple design to the left and text on the right. Our favorite ones are designs and sans serif fonts that are not too complicated. We would like to see logos that experiment with the design on the left being a stylized "Q". See the attached "sample" we made up as a rough guide. The color combinations we prefer are 1) dark yellow & black/dark gray/silver or 2) light blue & black/dark gray/silver.
