Run New England Logo

This is what Run New England (and needs to work both with and without the following tagline: Your comprehensive calendar for New England road races) was looking for in their logo design

Run New England (www.runnewengland.com) is a website dedicated to New England road races. I need a logo design that embodies the spirit of the project by capturing the culture of running. Currently, the site is a calendar of New England road races but there are plans to expand beyond this offering in the future, and the logo needs to scale to that.

The color scheme should be taken from the website, focused mostly on the green I've used. The style of it should be fun and whimsical, but also relate back to running in a way that will appeal to both hardcore, competitive runners and the more casual variety of runners.

The logo needs to work for:
-The website. It needs to work as a stand alone (Run New England) and with a tagline (Your comprehensive calendar for New England road races).
