RF Logo Design Project

This is what R.F. Scott & Co was looking for in their logo design

I need a logo for an old fashioned hunting shop in a regional city in Australia. It's claim to fame is that it is the oldest continuous running gun shop in Australia.
I am attaching a photo of inside the shop & an image from Vistaprint they have been using. The vistaprint image is clear & modern but it is American in style - their customers generally hunt rabbits, foxes, deer & the occasional hog.
The owners are very jovial but value the tradition or the shop & the area. Many tourists come in to look at the animals around the shop.
So the logo should use natural, outdoorsy colours & I am thinking the font should be old style but not cowboy.
