yearly golf tournament

This is what WoMa (Invitational can be included but is optional) was looking for in their logo design

We are looking for a logo for a yearly golf tournament which is a reunion of old friends. The tournament is being played since 2005 and is called WoMa Invitational.

Since participants have spread across the globe after graduation, the tournament is played every year in a different continent.

We are looking for designs that
1: embody/communicate lifetime/eternal friendships,
2: across the globe and
3: NOT necessarily designs that include a set of golf clubs or reference to Golf / golf related
