Description

On the former mining site in Lanklaar, Belgium we will open Belgium’s 4th cable park for waterski and wakeboard. The cable will be situated at the Vulex lake of the Terhills project site. Terhills is a unique site of 365 hectare in the heart of the former coal mining province of Limburg (Belgium). The environment of the site has been shaped by its former role as a colliery which has resulted in a dramatic and extensive landscape.The vision for Terhills is to create a unique and diverse tourism destination creating an unique visitor experience. The development of Terhills will consist of several complementary key components all set within, and sensitive to, the site’s distinctive landscape, the Masterplan. This masterplan consists of a sport zone in which we will be located, a new retail area and a holiday park. At the moment there is already a large retail zone which attracts 2 million visitors every year.
