Logo Design Brief
I need a logo design for a new LLC in the Washington, D.C. metro area. I offer etiquette counseling and special event planning services, specializing in weddings. You can learn more about the services I offer and who I am by visiting my blog at www.lauramcphersonbest.wordpress.com. My blog theme colors are the colors I'd like to use in the logo: muted, subtle purple, gray, and ivory. The final design should convey elegance, tradition, and formality. The name of my company comes from the expression "Mind your Ps & Qs" which refers to etiquette. The "& Ws" part comes in to represent weddings. My company's tag line is "Don't Be Yourself. Be Someone Nicer." I'd like to see ideas that incorporate that as well as ideas that just use the company name. I do NOT want any cutesy graphics of brides or veils, etc. as the logo needs to also appeal to prospective etiquette clients. I was envisioning something using the letters "P", "Q", "W" and the ampersand sign (&) stacked in a block, but I am very open to ideas that may go in a different direction - as long as it's elegant looking.
