Hello, I am not a designer, but I have exactly the logo you want. Because of the examples you provided, I am sure that you will love it, but I am not able to make a professional art, as I am not a designer.

The draw I made have the following characteristics:
- subliminal (but easy to find out) message of dancing
- a bottle using negative white space.
- food ingredient
- something that suggests the idea of hot
- uses only the FLUXX word

Would you accept a poor art containing a great idea?
(I think it would not be expensive to hire someone later just to make the professional art)
If so, I will spend some time drawing it in Photoshop.

Would you like your logo to be in black and white, so that you may make a color decision on your own, or would you rather I suggest a color that I feel fits the logo I created?

I noticed this brief and thought it would be a nice challenge. I remember being blown away in school by these types of clever designs (the FedEx arrow). I think the trouble people are having is that there is no real "hook" to the name. "Fluxx" it is an abstract word, there isn't a single object that can clearly define it. Most of the logos you're referencing have objects associated with the word. All I can come up with for Fluxx is waves of movement. I really like your idea of the different music types, no static theme but I can seem to translate that into a single object. Can you perhaps elaborate on what "Fluxx" would look like to you. Is it free flowing text, sound waves or beats...

On another note, what are the bars major items as far as food an beverage. Are we talking Martinis or Beer Mugs and burgers or both?

Have you had anyone come close yet, I'm very interested to see what people come up with regarding the negative space? Very challenging logo, but I like that and I can see you have an eye for decent designs.
