Logo Design Brief

A logo design for an existing company that operates globally and is cloud based. We develop a cutting edge, all encompassing software system for Furniture and Bed retailers. The system helps them to organize their business to be more profitable and give their customers better service. We would like to use blue R91 G155 B213 and the design should have a similar theme to Microsoft metro look e.g flat with no shadows. The final design should communicate confidence, seriousness and not feel gimmicky - to give our client a feeling of calm and profit growth. Once the final design is chosen, we would like to make a themed icon for the metro interface and to add onto tabs on browsers. I have added two files of quick mock ups I made myself just to give an idea of what I'm thinking - but...I am very open to suggestions.
