As part of Scarborough Baptist Church’s Outside School Hours Care rebranding, we are changing our name from 'SB OSHC' [Scarborough Baptist Outside School Hours Care] to 'Brighton Kids'.
We are looking for a designer to prepare a logo for our new name. This logo is to be utilised in all correspondence and advertising, including but not restricted to our banner, newsletter, letter head and footer, business card, website and uniforms.
We provide Before, After and Vacation Care for children aged 5-13. We have been established in the Scarborough Beach community for 6 years, and operate out of Scarborough Baptist Church [who have been established here for over 60 years]. Even though we are a part of the Baptist Church, we are not looking for typical 'Christian' themes or images in our logo.
The business is located on Brighton Road, a road that leads directly to the beach, which is approximately 1km away. This is one reason we chose to include the word 'Brighton'. Another reason is the inference to the sun and the beach in the, as well as the implication of fun, youth and growth.
Something we are open to seeing then is the image of a sun in our logo. This is not essential, but was an idea we liked.
The final design should attempt to communicate fun, life, growth, and trustworthiness.
