Logo Design Brief

Logo for a new Pizza Restaurant in Round Rock, TX. Idea for the name of the restaurant is derived from the WW2 military term "Fire in the hole"... and analogous to the fire within the hearth of a stone or brick oven. So Stone and Fire are the two key elements for the logo.

This logo will be used on signage, pint glasses and apparel for the restaurant staff.

One idea the owner would like to see is to have the word "Fire" to be bigger and on top of "In the Hole". The logo could be bold lettering with perhaps a faint hint of brick-work in the lettering. main colors of Red and Gold. Also I was thinking of having the word "FIRE" curved upward so that there is a hole under the "I " and "R" so as to resemble the hole in a brick oven. This could contain flames and there could be a flame over the "I" in fire (and anywhere else they may be deemed appropriate)

Local residents of Round Rock, TX - 20 miles North of Austin, TX. More suburban and slightly more than Austin with Dell Corporate Headquaters nearby.
