Logo Design Brief

I need a logo for a charity event supporting Military Veterans. It is an event held at Jiu Jitsu, Judo, Wrestling, MMA and Sambo Academies called "Grappling Roll Call"
I would like a logo that can be used on letterhead, the website and t-shirts
We want to own the hi res files and have them provided in all usual formats
The logo will need to have the three colours representative of the Australian Military Branches. Defence Housing uses these colours on their logo so they should be readily identifiable.
I have a concept in mind but open to other ideas. The concept is three arms linked in a triangle with each of the three sleeves in one of the Military Colours with a Bugle representing Roll Call in the middle of the triangle.
