Logo Design Brief

We are a religious (Methodist) group on the university campus (University of the West Indies, Cave Hill Campus) in Barbados. Our aim is to encourage and facilitate students while studying on the campus to be more socially active, to be more social justice minded.

Need a logo for a fairly new religious group on the campus. A logo which demonstrates the heart of the Society: the desire to care for and serve the campus and the wider community - social justice is the core of the Society's work.

Ideally I have in mind the following: a cupped hand (below are several variations that I'm open to) holding the world. On the world an enlarge need outlined map of the island of Barbados ( location of the university) with the university's iconic symbol (a pelican) located to the south south east area of the outlined map of barbados.

In addition I would love a plaited bracelet (pink, blue, purple) with the combined symbols of the Jerusalem cross and the Methodist logo (attached a a rough sketch along with actual images of each item)
