Vector Design Brief

Hello!

I am a web developer and though I do graphic design I am *not* an illustrator. This is why I need your help! My current client is starting a small healthy lunch delivery company called LunchGuru.

The requirements are:
- Layered vector file (in case I need to adjust proportions)
- Name of font used (so I can find compatible fonts for the rest of the site)

We are looking for a friendly, graphic logo - it should include "LunchGuru" (or "lunchguru" - we haven't decided on whether to go all lower-case, etc). Whimsical, maybe a little fun. There are a few directions we could go:

1) I've posted a horrible mock-up with a plate/fork and some fruits/veggies - it's the right direction but not professional enough.

2) A simplistic graphic of a bento box (with three sections) - I've included a picture of a bento box if you are not familiar with the term. It's typically a rectangular lunch box with three compartments

3) Maybe a friendly, cute looking lunch bag (could even have a smily face) with a few fruits and veggies. I've included below an image of a little friendly-faced glass of wheatgrass juice I saw on site for a juice company - something similar could be fun.

As far as colors, I'm looking for reds, yellows, orange, and greens (and possibly brown if there is a lunch bag involved). The design is more important, I think it will be easy to tweak the colors later.

This logo will be used on the website (this is a small company delivering less than 100 lunches per week) and also possibly on branded invoices sent to customers.

UPDATE:

Client is having trouble making a decision so I decided to extend the deadline. Still welcoming *new* designs!

This vector file will be used for a variety of materials (business cards, website header) so we are requesting a horizontally oriented logo.

To sum up the other requirements: No (or VERY little blue), one font (can be used in regular and bold, or regular and italic), HEALTHY lunch delivery so fruits and veggies welcome, modern, clean, and left in a layered format (so if I need to slightly move the text or an element I can do that).
