Logo Design Brief
We need a fresh Web 2.0-like logo for our new Information Security blog. Our blog will give advice to business leaders and information security professionals - so the logo should communicate professionalism - but we still want to retain a sense of freshness.
The logo will replace the words "InfoSec.Life" currently at the top left of our site at http://infosec.life/ AND can be wider than those words are currently. Thus, the logo should include that lettering. "InfoSec" is short for Information Security. As it is a domain name, it should be one word (InfoSec.Life) however you can play with capital letters as you wish.
You can choose the colour scheme - we can change our site to match your scheme. Feel free to take a copy of our site, recolour it, and present it with your suggested logo inserted - this will be favourably regarded as it will help us see your design with a suitable colour scheme.
The logo will be mostly presented as a banner (wider than it is long) at the top of our site http://infosec.life/ because if the logo is too tall, it will take up too much valuable screen space.
We will also need to use the logo in social media thumbnails as well - these typically these are square, so bonus points go to any designs that can be rearranged to work as a square as well.

Requirements
Must have
- Must present nicely as a banner (wider than it is tall) at the top of our site http://infosec.life/
- The ability to scale in resolution - preference is for vector graphics.
Nice to have
- Ability to be rearranged into a square shape for social media thumbnails (this is in conflict with our banner requirement, but bonus points go to any designer who can make both Banner and Square layouts work!)
- A design element that works INTO the font work. I'm seeing a lot of designs that sit off to the side of the site's name. Let's see some design elements that become part of the font work so the design and name become one.
- Guidance on colour scheme - feel free to take a capture of the blog and recolour it with the logo included. I can follow your logo's colour scheme.
Should not have
- DO NOT include the tag line "Musings on good Information Security posture".
