Logo Design Brief

We need a logo design for our new Retail based E-Commerce portal; RetailStores.com. Retail Stores – brings the shopping experience to your home computer, tablet, or smart phone through a series of exclusive boutiques.

The logo must inspire warmth, elegance, decorative flare, and a soft and pleasing image that separates the brand from other e-commerce sites, while incorporating the universal range of retail experience.

The logo should work both as a banner and be easily adaptable to a circular icon as well to create a brand stamp that clearly identifies the site as within a ‘retail’ world and the types of products within.

It should both be distinctive and classy; yet fit within a loose thematic concept associated with our other E-Commerce platform logos, Industrial Stores (the grey gear) and Residential Stores (blue house in circle). see; IndustrialStores.com - see ResidentialStores.com

The color and font should be artistic, but clearly readable with color accent to pop on the screen. Please reference sites: One King's Lane, West Elm, Pottery Barn and Restoration Hardware for similar concept ideas.
