Logo Design Brief

Hi,

I am opening a new Cafe called "Three Daughters".. yes, I have three daughters!! I am looking for something quirky, funky and maybe even coffee / cafe related (but not essential) logo.. easy huh? :-) The word "Cafe" does not need to feature in the logo. I am looking to add a tagline also, along the lines of "espresso + food" or similar..

I would like to use the logo on promotional items also.. such as t-shirts, mugs, flyers, loyalty card etc.. so the logo will need to be quite "clean" and uncluttered to allow different size reproduction.

Probably best to use only black and white, although I do like Orange and wouldn't mind a colour element somewhere in the design, I also like the contrast between matte an gloss colours.. Will be printed onto Black background the most.
