Icon Design Brief

Our swim school the DLSA www.dlsa.com.au (old website currently being renewed via a Design Crowd project) is about to begin our 20th year of teaching swimming and water safety.

As a beginning of the 20th year we are planning a number of marketing promotions that will begin with the inclusion of our 20th Year Badge/Icon that will be attached to all visual media.

Currently we are open to any and all suggestions. Our basic brief would be to be:

* Modern
* Fun
* Bold
* Match/accentuate our new logo (attached)
* It would need to represent boldly both in colour & black & white.

The icon/badge should have a swimming feel to it so as to associate it better to DLSA.

BRIEF UPDATE 14TH FEB:

As usual, we begin to get more of a feel for what we are looking for as we receive a few submissions... The following are a few thoughts:

1. The badge/icon should promote '20 years' & 'DLSA'.

2. The 'DLSA' should be in a similar style to the DLSA in our logo.

3. The badge/icon should represent a swimming and/or water theme.

4. Keep in mind that this will be placed onto existing visual media so it needs to be BOLD, have some DEPTH and should use shading to highlight it against any other graphic we put it against.

I have attached the top three web sites we are currently leaning towards as the new DLSA website as a colour and feel reference but please note, All of these designs are still working through minor colour changes.
