We need to redesign our site kidsmedia.net.
Current site was done long ago in Flash. We need to remove Flash and create a responsive site which can be viewed on phone, tablets as well as PC.
We are looking for a new fresh design. No elements from existing design need to be incorporated into new design.
The site is targeted for kids 7-12 years old.
Design should have attractive colors and it should be easy to navigate. It will be even better to provide one theme for boys and one for girls.
New site will have following features:
SHORT STORIES
Ability to display thumbnails of stories available. When user click a story it will play.
See http://kidsmedia.net/stories/index.asp to get an idea.
MOVIES
We have two moves, more to come. Users will be able to see thumbnails and watch trailers. To watch full movie they will be redirect to a Vimeo page where they can pay and watch.
See http://kidsmedia.net/Movies/ to get an idea.
PICTURE STORIES
This will feature short stories. When a story is clicked it will start playing. The stories will have picture and text, possibly audio too.
See http://kidsmedia.net/stories/stories.asp to get an idea.
AUDIO STORIES
Audio stories recorded from kids or adults will be played. Optional photo of the person who recorded story will be displayed. User will have option to select a story by clicking thumbnail of stories.
VIDEO STORIES
Like audio stories, user will be able to scroll though thumbnails of stories and play one. Short video 1-3 mins will be played.
