Logo Design Brief

We are in need of a new logo for our Parks and Recreation Department. We offer a wide variety of programs which include arts/crafts, dance to sports. We have a number of parks, trails and also a community pool. We are open to the colors chosen for our design. The final design should be "community" oriented. I've attached a file that could help you get started; this file is too simplistic for what we were trying to accomplish.
