Graphic Design Brief

I chose as a name for my sailing boat 'ALIAS'. Now I need to write the name on the transom of the boat. It doesn't need to be a graphical logo or a complex design: name on boats should be clearly readable even from a distance. In brief, a font and a color should be enough but it should point out and reflect the idea of what I like of sailing.
The name 'ALIAS' in Latin means also 'in another place'.
To me sailing is flying silently and fast on the water without noises if not what is coming from the wind and water. I could be alone or with friends or family for a weekend race or a two weeks holiday.

It is also the memory of my childhood sailing in the Med with my father on a small sailing boat and the hope to live the same with my children.
The transom as you can see from the picture is big, so the writing . should not be tiny. The hull color is oyster white, sails are grey.
