Graphic Design Brief

Hi, many years ago an artist created a website for me. However, I failed to get a psd or vector image file of the design. Now I have ported the old site to a new wordpress theme, but because the new theme has a wider width, one of the images on the site is becoming distorted. I will need the image recreated (as best you can) and provided to me in the correct jpg size, and then also provide me with a psd and vector file for future use.

I've attached the image that needs to be recreated, it is the header image. I've also attached the original logo artwork as you won't need to recreate that part of the image, only the right part that is distorted. The width should be 1040px.

So from you, i want header.jpg at 1040px width, you can use the .ai logo file I've attached to make sure that image is nice and clear. The callout on the right with the text is what will need to be recreated, as will the background.
