I am opening a hot yoga studio in Milledgeville, Georgia, a small college town in a largely Christian community located on beautiful Lake Sinclair. (Milledgeville population @ 20K, Baldwin County population @ 50K) Our core services will be classes using the Bikram method. I would like to use a triquetra or celtic trinity knot theme, representing the mind, body, spirit connection. It should also represent "harmony" in the color and symbolism. I want to make sure the logo looks good transferred to glass. It would be nice to incorporate yoga postures but primarily, I would like to keep it simple and meaningful. The use of negative space is interesting to me. Southern style, maybe subliminal Christian theme. I want to make sure the logo can't be misinterpreted negatively in any way. (paganistic, cultish, violent, political) Milledgeville was the Antebellum capitol of Georgia whose theme is "Capitols, Columns and Culture". Georgia College is the local liberal arts university and is part of the University System of Georgia. It has almost 7000 students. Georgia Military College is a liberal arts junior college and one of only five Military Junior Colleges in the nation. The Cherokee Rose is our state flower. The links below (including the harmonyhotyoga website) may be helpful. I made a feeble attempt to create my own logo but it doesn't have the cool factor I am looking for. :)
