We are TREC "Tongass Rain Electric Cruise LLC" located in Juneau Alaska. We are a multi-faceted company that offers Research, Consultation, Retail, Renewable Energy Education in maritime environments, and eco tourism with zero carbon emissions off our all electric 50 foot Catamaran, EV Tongass Rain.
We will sell Torqueedo electric marine motors for recreational and commercial use and facilitate the transition from fossil fuel to electric and show the fiscal benefits to our customers.
We have great Whale watching, Mendenhall Glacier sightseeing and commercial tourism opportunities fed by the cruise ship industry. We have Commercial Fishing, and environmentally sensitive audience that would like to reduce dependency on fossil fuel and support a clean environment. We want to educate our customers about Wind/Solar and Hydro renewable energy. Juneau has it's own independent power grid that is all hydroelectricity. The tourism industry brings about 1.2M to Juneau every summer.
