Logo Design Brief

I am looking for a logo for my coaching company called Liebfrog.
The company specialises in helping clients learn, develop and improve their performance through coaching.
More specifically, this means I spend time with my clients to understand where they stand in life, where they want to go and what stops them from achieving those goals. I then work with them over several sessions to help them overcome those limitations and eventually move forward to reach their goals.

Liebfrog’s focus is on individual one-on-one coaching but eventually I might also work with groups and teams.

The name Liebfrog is a play on words that transports the company’s core values:
- ‘LIEB(e)’ is German for ‘love’ or ‘dear’. It stands for my German roots but at the same time communicates kindness, care, respect, trust and compassion.
(Leap)FROG stands for dynamic motion, overcoming hurdles/ problems/ issues, moving or leaping ahead, courage to jump into the unknown.

My clients are mostly professionals, often but not always in a corporate environment.

The logo should be modern and to a certain degree corporate (meaning it should work in a big business context) but warm and friendly at the same time. It will be used on the website, business cards and other corporate materials.

Brand tone:
kind, caring, optimistic, honest, trustworthy, courageous, grown up

Key brand differentiators:
Unlike many other coaching approaches I coach the client, rather than the topic and take into account the entirety of someone’s personality, qualities and competencies. Nothing is left out.

Target Market(s)

professionals, mainly between the age of 30 and 55, HR professionals, entrepreneurs, corporates, people facing career changes.

Requirements

Must have

• While the logo has to be 'serious' enough to work in a big corporate environment it should at the same time be warm and engaging as the service I provide is all about understanding and helping people overcome personal and professional challenges.

Should not have

• Given the seriousness of the subject I am looking for quite a grown up logo, so I don't want cute little frogs jumping over things.
• Playing with the frog theme may of course work, but I can only see it in quite an abstract/ stylised way.
