Logo Design Brief

First off thank you for your submissions in advance!

We're in need of a logo for our new company called "Grand Stand". We provide a product and a service in tandem. Our product is a photo stand (photo booth without the booth) that can be set up at any event or party. People get to take fun pics with their friends, and then post them straight to Social platforms such as Facebook.
The pics are stored digitally and can be filtered and used for marketing/solicitation purposes.

The logo should communicate the idea that our photo stand, Grand Stand, is the life of the party.

Since Grand Stand is the life of the party, we'd like to leave it up to the designer to decide which element(s) of events/parties may be appropriate to pull into the logo if at all and which elements of the photo stand and photo taking process should be melded into the design if at all.

We want a some-what simple logo, that appeals to a party crowd without looking classless or cheesy. It needs to look great and recognizable in Black and white...such styles as companies like Apple or Monster or beats by dre. ...the only difference is FUN.

The logo text can be separated into two words with spacing between the words like "Grand Stand" or two words distinguished not by spacing but by use of color, capitalization, etc.

We DO Not want a logo that looks like it was designed specifically for an service, we want a logo that looks like a company, product, or brand logo. We like bold colors and contrast :).

Must have

• -It's important that the logo be highly recognizable and look great whether in color as well as simple black and white...think of companies such as Apple, beats by dre. audio, or Monster energy drinks.
  
  -I'm looking for a modern, clean logo which incorporates modern, clean typography (some nice examples: http://webdesignledger.com/freebies/20-super-clean-fonts-perfect-for-minimal-style-design) and eye catching detailed graphics.

Nice to have

• -Prefer clean, simple 2D graphics (see logos linked)

Should not have

• -We do not want a logo that looks like it was designed specifically for a service, we want a logo that looks like a company, product, or brand logo.
