Logo Design Brief
To create a logo and logo mark that perfectly expresses the look & feel of a new women's capsule knitwear label, Blankit.
Blankit is targeted at 25 - 40 year old affluent contemporary fashion focused women who appreciate superior fabric quality, British made knits, and heritage design features with an edgy twist.
The woman that wears Blankit is natural, feminine, eclectic, conscientious, quirky, romantic and artistic. (think Sophie Dahl, Emma Watson, Anna Friel, Cate Blanchet, Keira Knightly , Emilia Fox)
The Blankit logo should incorporate a complimentary and relevant illustration that acts as a recognisable crest or logo mark in itself if it were to be used without the wording, for example a bee (B for Blankit) or butterfly (the wings closed resemble a B), or a ball of wool to symbolise knitwear.
Favourable colours are chocolate brown, biscuit beige, white, soft blue and silver.
The Blankit logo should instantly express the personality of the brand - feminine quirkiness, and its British origins balanced with its global appeal.
The website must be included under the logo www.blankit-knitwear.com
