Logo Design Brief

A logo for the North Queensland Wooden & Classic Power Boat Club. The club is for enthusiasts of classic and wooden powerboats, for those who own and restore them, and for those looking to become involved in them.
The logo should not look overly modern. Something related to the North QLD region would be good. (attached is a rejected design that was considered too modern)

Requirements

Must have

• The colours must use our primary blue (R:0 G:51 B: 102) and secondary blue (R:102 G:153, B:204)).
  The font used should be 'Qlassik Bold' to match our website theme.

Nice to have

• (see attached photos for engine cover with wood stain, sika lines and varnish), possibly have name of club in that with palm trees (to symbolise the NQ region) either side.

Should not have

• The logo should not be too modern-looking
