I would like to submit a design but need clarification.

I don't get the connection to the hermit crab. What does changing homes as you grow have to do with managing your home from anywhere?

I second the doubt above (as for as its relevance in regards to the brand purpose and goals) yet I must confess I thought you just decided to make the hermit crab a mascot, which is plausible as well. I mean... Apple sells computers and nobody complains about the use of such fruit.

I have given this a lot of thought and I have an idea that will make your hermit crab concept work well. The way you have worded the brief seems disconnected.

I took a little creative license in my crab design... the shape of a hermit crab shell doesn't work well in a 16 x 16 px format, I tried several designs which I would show if you were interested, they just didn't work well for me. I don't think the shell is so important because hermit crabs have been known to use other shells and even objects like thimbles as homes.
