Poster Design Brief

Our company is about to start operating a monthly prize competition, where entrants buy a ticket, answer the question and if they get it correct, have a chance of winning £10,000. Tickets will be mainly sold in pubs and restaurants.

This A3-sized poster will be one of the first ways people hear about The Yorkshire Draw. Ideally it will be eye-catching, exciting and stylish. It could feature images of money, or things you can do with significant amounts of money.

Whichever design I choose, I hope to create a range of posters and flyers based on the same fundamental themes - so this design is actually the start of the brand image also, and that means more work for the same designer!

I would like the poster to feature some kind of catchy tag-line, like "Get ready to play..." / "Coming Soon..." / "Prepare yourself for...etc.,

- and also instruction on how they will play - for example - 1)Get a ticket 2)Answer the question 3)Cross fingers, or
1)Get a ticket 2)Fill it in 3)Imagine £10,000. Hold that thought.
or
Get a Ticket - Complete the Question - Good luck!

Also, possibly include this:
"Your'e much, much more likely to win £10,000 with the Yorkshire Draw than a six-number lottery. Why? Because we don't give ridiculously huge prizes that virtually no-one wins, and we'd rather give you more than the price of a round at your local. So we settled with a nice compromise - Ten Grand."

- but overall, its up to you with the design and the wording! If you can think of different wording, give it a go!!

MUST INCLUDE
"We will give 2% of all ticket sales to charities each month."

The cost of entry is £3, the prize(s) are £10,000. The competition will operate monthly, and the first month's competition will start on 1 July 2011. We already have a logo, in lots of different file formats, see attached zip file.

Thank you

David

Updates

Just an update:

Just a point to note - for some reason the image files such as TIF or PNG that I sent to you have messed up colours. The colours should look like they do in the BMP and JPG files :) the colour codes (RBG) are also in a text file in the zip folder if you need them

Thank you!
