Logo Design Brief

We need a logo for a "DUBSTEP" clothing line based out of California, USA. If you don't know, DUBSTEP is a type of music that features slow drum patterns, tons of distortion, and enough bass to destroy any system. We cater to a crowd that comes from all dif backgrounds ranging in age from 15-40 and living all over the globe. This music is mainly played out at clubs and raves across the world. Target Market(s)

Music Enthusiasts DJ's, Producers, ravers. Age range is between 15-40. Honestly, I am the target market on this logo as I design the actual shirts and other graphics myself. I just can't seem to do this logo on my own. Check out our other DnB Clothing Line @ www.Jungle-Junkie.com

Requirements

Must have

• The logo needs to incorporate the letters "D" & "F" standing for DubFlo. It also needs too resemble a "SIXTEENTH NOTE". We want it to be obvious that it's a music note, but also obvious that it's made of a "D" and "F". Does not need to be a capital d and f of course. Hard edges, no gradients. Some of the influences I'd like to be recognized for the style I'd like to see tried but not limited to, for this logo would be: SULLEN (mainly their text), BILLY ARGEL'S TATTOO LIKE FONTS...
  Please see attached items for styles I'd like to be tried but of course it's free reign on whatever you can come up with.

Nice to have

• A bit of grime and darkness but elegant and classy at the same time... Maybe a mix of tech (Ecko Unlmtd) style mixed with dirty (Affliction style)... Logos with and without a border and a random dot somewhere: see attached logo I tried to do. You can use multiple colors but it needs to be a logo that can be made into a decal or 1 layer screen print as it will be going on clothes and studio gear. Also, I'd like the colors to be separated so I can change them myself within the file to cater to dif tastes of our customers.

Should not have

• Anything that can't be used as a decal or one color screen print design. Gradients. If you use text in the logo, keep it separate from the logo. I don't want it to overlap since I will only be using them together on some applications. Thank you.. Other than that, have fun.
