Logo Design Brief

We need a logo for Riding Engineering, a structural engineering firm. It will be used for our business cards, letterhead and signage. The logo we have now is RE done in block letters made to look like a building with a roof line overtop. We provide residential and commercial structural design. We do like the "RE Riding Engineering" idea we are using currently (the play on words is good) but require a more professional finish, or maybe something a little different. We would like our logo design to communicate structural design but are open to other designs. Our current colours are gold and black.
